Court starts at 6:00 p.m. The Prosecutor usually arrives at 4:30 p.m. and the Judge takes the bench at 6:00 p.m.
When you arrive for court you should sign in with the Court Clerk or other personnel. The docket will be called in order of sign in, not alphabetically.
In order to maintain order and uphold the dignity and decorum of the judicial branch of our government, rules of conduct and dress for litigants, counsel, witnesses, court staff and spectators will ensure that persons in the courtroom do not obstruct or interfere with the orderly transaction of court business nor degrade or insult the dignity of the judicial proceedings, judicial officers, witnesses and others in the courtroom.Shirts and shoes must be worn in the courtroom, and prohibited attire includes:
Heavily soiled work clothing, bare-midriff outfits, shorts, cut-offs, halter tops, tank tops, undershirts, see-through blouses, bathing suits, lingerie, athletic uniforms, hats, helmets, theatrical costumes, face-paint, clothing emblazoned with obscene words, images, or messages contemptuous or disrespectful of the judicial process.
Acceptable forms of payment are Cash, Check, Money Order. If paying with Credit Card you will be asked to contact our third-party billing company via phone or internet and they will process the payment for you. (Third party billing will include an additional fee)

Section 100.030 – Contents of Code
This Code contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature of the City of Lake Lotawana, Missouri, and includes ordinances dealing with municipal administration, municipal elections, building and property regulation, business and occupations, health and sanitation, public order, and similar objects.
The updated Code contains all ordinances supplied by the Municipality through Ordinance No. 922 adopted October 19, 2010. Please note that ordinances approved by the Municipality since the date stated above are not included in this format. Therefore, some sections of the codification may have changed. This publication is available for informational purposes only and no action should be taken without first consulting with Municipal Officials.
Court Clerk's Hours :
The Court Clerk will be available by phone Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (please leave a message and your call will be returned promptly) and, additionally, in person at the Court Clerk's Office, City of Lake Lotawana City Hall, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The Lake Lotawana Municipal Court is a division of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Missouri. The jurisdiction of the Municipal Court extends to all cases involving alleged violations of the Municipal Code or other ordinances of the City.The Municipal Court Administrator is responsible for:
