The City of Lake Lotawana Government is operated by the Elected Mayor, the Elected Board of Aldermen, City Administrator and Police Department.
Anyone wishing to address the Mayor and the Aldermen in a Board of Aldermen
meeting must fill out a Public Speaks appearance form. After completion, the form is
to be given to the Presiding Officer.
Comments are limited to 3 minutes for individuals and 10 minutes for a group
during the Public Speaks section of the BOA meeting agenda. A question and answer
period is not included in the speaker’s time limit.
Want to see how your local government works ? You are always invited to come to a Board of Aldermen Meeting or Work Session. Generally the Board of Aldermen have a work session on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The Board of Aldermen Meeting is the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Meetings are held inside City Hall in the Council Chambers.
